Jane Kirby is a circus artist specializing in the aerial arts. She is experienced working on silks, rope, trapeze, lyra, hammock and other apparatuses. She has performed solo, duo and ensemble aerial pieces for events and clients including The Skeleton Park Arts Festival, Casino Nova Scotia, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Creative Arts Nova Scotia Awards and more. Jane is passionate about contemporary circus and interdisciplinary collaborations, and works regularly with theatre artists, dancers, musicians and digital media artists. Jane is also an aerial teacher, and has completed aerial teacher training courses through NECCA/Nimble Arts.
